Actress Bhumi Pednekar has played diverse roles in her career and has often undergone drastic transformations to play her characters. However, Bhumi had a witty response and mentioned that, unlike her, other Bollywood celebs paid lakhs to get bigger lips.
A video from the promotional days of Shubh Mangal Zyada Savdhan has gone viral now. In the video, Bhumi addressed how she has been scrutinised for her looks. The actress told Film Companion, “People have the most bizarre things (to say). Somebody actually told me, ‘Your lips are too big.'”
Bhumi added, “I said, since when is that a problem? Aren’t people like paying lakhs of money to get that done? I mean, they can say the most bizarre things, but I think you should just be aware of what you are and not care.” The video has gone viral again after lip job rumours surrounding the actress after her appearance in The Royals.
