Bollywood actor Boman Irani recently appeared on comedian Sapan Verma’s show.

Boman Irani recently made his directorial debut with The Mehta Boys, starring Avinash Tiwary as his son in the film. The film has received immense praise from viewers and with promotional activities, Boman is making sure that it reaches a wide audience. As such, Boman recently made an appearance on comedian Sapan Verma’s show and was asked why Parsis are so rich.
Sapan Verma posed his viewers’ questions to Boman Irani and asked, “Why are Parsis so rich?” Boman replied, “If I was rich, why would I be sitting with you four (the show’s panel) losers?” Boman then revealed that his call time for the show was 6:30 pm and he arrived at the venue at 6:27 pm. He then said, “And that is why Parsis have more money than others.”
This left everyone on the show in splits. The clip has gone viral on social media platforms and on Reddit, netizens praised Boman Irani for his humour and demeanour. One person wrote, “He always has such a fun-loving aura around him. Must be great to hang out with.” Another added, “Absolutely love this man! Brilliant actor, with a fun persona, looks so cute. And apparently rich too. What is there not to like?!” One person wrote, “He played so many iconic characters with memorable lines. Gem of an actor.” Another fan praised Boman for his humour.
Meanwhile, Boman Irani is garnering praise for his directorial debut. He recently took to Instagram to share a video after the film’s screening to express his joy upon receiving support from Bollywood. “The amount of people who have come from the industry just to show me love, and I felt so proud. I just want to say my cup runneth over. To know that everyone here is to support this beautiful film. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you The Mehta Boys,” he said.
Helmed by Boman Irani, The Mehta Boys stars him, Avinash Tiwary, Shreya Chaudhry, and Puja Sarup in lead roles. The film follows the story of a father and son, who are at odds with each other but are unexpectedly compelled to spend 48 hours together.
