Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda held a star-studded reception in Hyderabad to celebrate their beautiful union. Among the Bollywood celebrities in attendance, Kriti Sanon, who will be seen with Rashmika in Cocktail 2, and Homi Adajania, who has directed the film, were also present. Kriti and Homi took to social media to share glimpses from the celebration, and the filmmaker made a cheeky joke, telling Kriti to leave the newlyweds alone.
Homi shared a photo of Kriti Sanon posing with Rashmika and Vijay. He wrote, “Congrats, guys. Kriti Sanon, can you stay out of this?” To this, Kriti replied, “Hahahahaha… Never… Love them!” He also shared a photo of Rashmika and Kriti lovingly gazing at each other. He posed with the actresses in another photo and wrote, “Only love and happiness for you loons.”

Fans are excited to see the close bond between Rashmika and Kriti. This has also fueled anticipation around Cocktail 2, in which the actresses will reportedly play lovers. If a report by OCD Times is to be believed, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna will reportedly play a lesbian couple in Cocktail 2.
Shahid Kapoor is likely to feature as the third angle in the story. Moreover, it is also being said that the film promises a refreshing take on modern relationships with a compelling love triangle at its core. However, it should also be noted that makers have not issued any official statement regarding the film’s plot as of now.
Cocktail 2 Release Date
While the release date of Cocktail 2 hasn’t been officially announced, Mid-Day reports that the makers have locked a September release, ensuring that there is a clear six-month gap after Shahid’s O’Romeo. According to the report, the decision to schedule Cocktail 2 six months after Shahid Kapoor’s earlier release, O’Romeo, was carefully planned. This gap ensures that both films get their own space and allows audiences to embrace Shahid in a fresh avatar.
