Cricket South Africa has named 30-year-old Corbin Bosch as the replacement player for the injured Anrich Nortje for the Champions Trophy 2025. Initially, CSA has included Nortje in the South Africa squad for the Champions Trophy set to be played in Pakistan later this month.

But Nortje was forced to withdraw from the Champions Trophy 2025 owing to a recurring back injury. Anrich Nortje becomes the first South African player to enter the list of players to miss Champions Trophy 2025.

With days ahead of the Champions Trophy 2025, CSA has finally named Corbin Bosch as his replacement. Corbin Bosch made his international debut in December last year and played just one ODI and a Test so far.

Along with Bosch, South Africa have also added fast bowler Kwena Maphaka in the squad as a travelling reserve. The two fast bowlers along with batter Tony de Zorzi will travel to Pakistan on Sunday, 9 February to join the squad for the remainder of their ODI series.
