Twice has been experimenting with new sounds in recent months and their latest track, Strategy seems to have quickly won the hearts of listeners.

For a decade, K-pop girl group Twice has been taking the music industry by storm with their catchy tracks. The nine member group, including Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu, recently made their much awaited comeback with a new mini album titled Strategy. The group also released the music video of title track of the same name, which includes their second collaboration with American rapper Megan Thee Stallion. The girl group are flaunting their fresh side and surprised fans with their creativity. As soon as the title track was out, fans couldn’t stop praising the group for their bold and unique sound

The new mini album comes 10 months after their full album was released, With YOU-th. Twice has been experimenting with new sounds in recent months and their latest track seems to have quickly won the hearts of their fans. According to The Qoo, the group’s fans, known as Once, are not only loving the groovy music and sweet lyrics but they’re also praising the way the song was filmed. Fans have been admiring the stunning choreography and how each member’s unique voice stands out in the track.

Following the release of Strategy, Nayeon, Twice’s eldest member, told The Hollywood Reporter that making the new album was a challenging but rewarding experience for the group. She said, “We’ve worked on so many albums up until now and we’ve tried so many different things. The upcoming album is another new try, where it was quite challenging for us.”

Speaking about their collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion, Jeongyeon mentioned, “She has a powerful, strong image. We were wondering, would that fit in with our style of music and our image? Once we recorded, we thought we actually fit really well, a lot better than we imagined. I feel like Megan’s style really enhanced our part of the music.”

Tzuyu added, “In the beginning for us, because she’s so famous and well known, we were quite shy, but just like she [Jeongyeon] said earlier, Megan really tried a lot to break the ice. She kept trying to learn Korean and make jokes and just kept saying, ‘Let’s just have fun together.’ I feel like the music video turned out very well.”

Twice further shared their thoughts on how they want the world to remember them. Momo said that even after many years, she hopes people will remember Twice for their energy and for being a group that inspired many. She wants the group to be seen as a role model and to be remembered as the best girl group. Jeongyeon added that they “want to be a part of history,” with their music. She dreams that Twice’s music should be included in school textbooks so that kids can learn about music through their songs.
