Lok Sabha Secretary General Utpal Kumar Singh welcomed Rishi Sunak and his family at Parliament House

United Kingdom’s former prime minister Rishi Sunak visited Parliament House in New Delhi with his wife Akshata Murty and their daughters Krishna and Anoushka on Tuesday.
The family was also accompanied by Murty’s mother and Member of Parliament in Rajya Sabha Sudha Murthy. Sunak and his family were welcomed by Lok Sabha Secretary General Utpal Kumar Singh.

The family took a tour of the Parliament and were briefed about its making.
Rishi Sunak’s India Visit
Earlier, Sunak and his family had visited the Taj Mahal in Agra. The family toured one of the wonders of the world on Saturday and the former UK Prime Minister also signed the visitor book along.
“A truly breathtaking visit. Few places in the world can unite like the Taj Mahal. Our children will never forget seeing this… We are so grateful to the warm hospitality. An unforgettable experience for our whole family. Thank you,” Sunak said.
Akshata Murty also wrote in the book, “A memory for the ages”.
The visitors had gathered in huge numbers to catch a glimpse of the former prime minister and his family. In response, they waved at the people who had gathered and greeted them with folded hands.
Sunak also visited the iconic Fatehpur Sikri monument with his family on Sunday.
Before his Agra tour, Sunak had attended the Jaipur Literature Festival and the fifth and final T20I match between India and England at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
