Popular actor Gaurav Khanna has emerged as the winner of Celebrity MasterChef after beating finalists Tejasswi Prakash and Nikki Tamboli. Nikki became the first runner-up, while Tejasswi became the second runner-up. Gaurav got Rs 20 lakh rupees. While Gaurav’s fans have been celebrating his big win, and flooding social media with compliments and congratulatory messages, Tejasswi’s supporters have express their disappointment and accused the makers of being biased.
Throughout the competition, Gaurav managed to impress judges with his culinary skills and won massive applause. It was not easy for Gaurav to beat the finalists and emerged as a winner. Tejasswi Prakash gave Gaurav a tough fight, but his victory as the ultimate champion is nothing short of a dream come true for fans.
The actor recently made headlines after he was accused of copying a dessert called Honey Dripping Dessert which was originally made by Dives. Chef Vikas Khanna supported Gaurav and wrote, “Very rarely you witness culinary greatness like this one. I have to admit that this year’s MasterChef was a next-level benchmark for us. I only wish every celebrity contestant the very best.”

He also questioned trolls who targeted Gaurav and made nasty comments against Gaurav. Vikas wrote, “For all those who are commenting on the brilliant dish made by @gauravkhannaofficial, please let me know which chef created it first in the world. Meringue dripping cones have been done for decades. It was the overall flavour profile and presentation that shook us.”
Gaurav, Tejasswi, Nikki Tamboli, Faisal Shaikh and Rajiv Adatia were in the top 5 and fiercely competed for the prestigious chef’s coat and the coveted trophy. For the unversed, the show was judged by Farah Khan, Chef Ranveer Brar and Chef Vikas Khanna. The celebrities who participated in the show included Tejasswi Prakash, Nikki Tamboli, Gaurav Khanna, Dipika Kakar, Archana Gautam, Usha Nadkarni, Rajiv Adatia, Kabita Singh, Faisal Shaikh, Abhijeet Sawant, Ayesha Jhulka, and Chandan Prabhakar. Chandan, Abhijeet, Ayesha and Kabita were ousted from the show, while Dipika exited due to her hand injury.
