The rising Mannat
Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic sea-facing Bandra home, Mannat, is getting a major upgrade, with luxury real estate firm Shri Lotus Developers and Realty adding floors to its rear portion. Founder Anand Pandit revealed, “We’re adding a few floors to the back portion of Mannat.” The expansion is expected to add 616.02 sq m of built-up area and cost around R25 crore. Last year, mid-day reported that SRK and his family have temporarily relocated, while work continues (Mannat under a veil, April 24, 2025). The superstar has also sought coastal clearances for the extension. Meanwhile, Pandit’s company is redeveloping SRK’s first Mumbai home too.
When did Mannat’s renovation begin?
The Khan family moved out of Mannat in April 2025, with renovation work beginning around the same time. Reports in March 2025 had said construction was scheduled to start in May, but work was visibly underway by April. The family is expected to stay at Puja Casa during the two-year renovation
