Highest T20 team scores: SunRisers Hyderabad are threatening to rewrite the record books in the IPL as they attempt to breach the 300-run mark for the first time in the tournament.
SRH smashed the fastest team 200 in only 14.1 overs in their IPL 2025 season opener against Rajasthan Royals in Hyderabad and went past the 250-run mark in only 17.1 overs. The Orange Army are the first team to make four scores of 250-plus in the IPL, with the overall total moving up 11.
SRH came close to breaching 300 last year when they piled on a staggering 287/3 against RCB in Bengaluru. Hyderabad also witnessed the Indian national team coming close to the landmark last year, smashing a colossal 297/6 against Bangladesh. The record for the highest T20 total, however, belongs to Baroda who demolished records with a mind-boggling 349/5 against Sikkim in December 2024 during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in India.
