Australia on Sunday announced the men’s cricket calendar for the upcoming 2025-26 home series starting after post the World Test Championship final against South Africa in June in the second half of the year.
India will be among the key visitors Down Under, participating in ODI and T20I series as cricket.com.au revealed that the Aussies will be playing in all states during a season for the first time.
The home season will commence on August 10, 2025 with the Proteas touring Australia for three ODIs and as many T20Is. After a bustling start to their home season in late August, India will travel to Australia for three ODIs and five T20Is, starting October 19.
Australia will then have a fortnight before the Ashes 2025-26 begins against England at the Perth Stadium on November 21 and concludes with the New Year’s Test in Sydney. Amidst the scheduled fixtures, Australia are also slated to tour New Zealand in October and Pakistan in February. The reigning 50-over world champions will be playing more T20Is in the season, with the focus on the 2026 T20 World Cup to be held in India and Sri Lanka between February-March next year.
