Congress leader Jairam Ramesh alleged that former Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar was “forcibly made to resign” a year ago over his concerns for farmers and criticised the Centre for not giving him a formal farewell in the Rajya Sabha. Dhankhar had resigned in July last year, citing medical reasons.
