Kiccha Sudeep’s mother Saroja Sanjeev died on Sunday, October 20 due to age-related ailments. The 86-year-old breathed her last in the wee hours at Apollo Hospital in Bengaluru. Sudeep is going through a tough time, but has remained committed to his ongoing projects. According to the reports, Sudeep got the news of his mother’s deteriorating health on October 19, while he was hosting one of the Bigg Boss Kannada 11 episodes. Reportedly, someone informed the actor that his mother’s condition was critical and that he should be with her as soon as possible. Despite hearing this news, reportedly Kiccha Sudeep didn’t leave the BB Kannada 11 sets. The reports said he kept hosting the BB Kannada 11 with the same energy and zeal. The contestants were also unaware of the traumatic phase in Kiccha Sudeep’s life until director Yograj Bhat arrived on the Bigg Boss set. He informed the contestants about the actor’s mother’s demise. He also told them how Kiccha Sudeep conducted the show despite receiving the news about her mother’s ill health. The housemates were shocked to listen to this news, observed silence and prayed for the departed soul.
Kiccha Sudeep’s mother’s last rites took place in the city today at her residence in JP Nagar. She died at Apollo Hospital, Jayanagar.
Many prominent personalities from the political and entertainment field expressed their condolences for Kiccha Sudeep’s mother’s death. Former Chief Minister of Karnataka Basavaraj S Bommai wrote, “Actor Sudeep paid last darshan of his mother who passed away today and condoled with the family members.” In the pictures, Kiccha Sudeep can be seen crying in the arms of the Bommai.

Kantara actor Rishab Shetty mourned the death and expressed his grief on Twitter.

Kiccha Sudeep will next act in the film Kabzaa 2, written and directed by R Chandru. This film is currently in the pre-production phase. It will be the sequel to the film Kabzaa, which received poor reviews from the critics and the audience.
