Kritika and Gaurav’s wedding ceremony was an intimate affair with only close friends and family members in attendance.

A day after getting married, Kritika Kamra and Gaurav Kapur have now shared their first official photos on Instagram. On Thursday evening, the newlyweds took to the photo-sharing application and shared a joint post announcing their wedding. In the pictures, Kritika and Gaurav were seen posing romantically as they also held each other’s hands.

For the ceremony, Kritika wore a red Chanderi saree specially woven for her and gifted by her mother, created by her own brand, Cinnabar, an initiative that works to conserve the traditional dyeing art form of Chanderi silk while supporting women artisans from the region. On the other hand, Gaurav complemented the warm aesthetic of the evening in an elegant ivory and gold traditional ensemble by designer Raghavendra Rathore.

Soon after the pictures were shared, fans and friends rushed to the comments section to congratulate the couple. Among others, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Mini Mathur, Mrunal Thakur, Drashti Dhami, Armaan Malik, Hina Khan, Kushal Tandon, Karan Wahi and Arti Singh also congratulated Kritika and Gaurav. Saif Ali Khan’s sister, Saba, also wrote, “Congratulations ❤️ ❤️To a beautiful journey that lies ahead…. much love!”

Malaika Arora was also seen arriving at the wedding venue. Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi also graced the ceremony to congratulate the couple. Apart from a few Bollywood celebrities, former cricketers like Yuvraj Singh, Ajit Agarkar, Ashish Nehra and Zaheer Khan also attended the wedding with their wives.

Who Is Gaurav Kapur?

Gaurav Kapur is a renowned television personality, cricket presenter and content creator. Born in April 1981 in New Delhi, Kapur has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry over the years. He began his career as a radio jockey and later became a popular video jockey (VJ) on Channel V. Gaurav Kapur also tried acting. He was also seen in Darna Mana Hai, the horror film Ssshhh, and the remake of Sholay, Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag.

However, with time, Gaurav transitioned to hosting cricket shows, including “Extraaa Innings T20″ and “Cricbuzz Live”. He then also created his YouTube show “Breakfast with Champions” where he interviews top sports personalities. Gaurav has also worked with prominent cricketers and athletes, including Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Sachin Tendulkar.

Gaurav Kapur was previously married to actress Kirat Bhattal. As reported by Bollywood Shaadis, the two met for the first time in 2012 and fell in love with each other. They dated for a couple of years and then tied the knot in 2014. However, the two parted ways in 2021. The reason for their separation is not known.
