Malti Chahar dismisses relationship rumors with Amaal Mallik, calls him disrespectful: ‘Spare me now’ | Television News

It has been nearly four weeks since Bigg Boss 19 concluded, with Gaurav Khanna emerging as the winner. While the buzz around the show continues, its contestants have remained in the spotlight. Recently, Bigg Boss 19 fame Malti Chahar made headlines after comments she made about her parents’ relationship in an interview went viral. Subsequently, Malti took to social media, urging the public to respect her family’s privacy. On Tuesday afternoon, the reality show contestant once again addressed speculation, this time clarifying rumours surrounding her alleged relationship with Amaal Mallik.

During her stint on Bigg Boss 19, Malti had claimed that she knew Amaal from outside the show. On multiple occasions, she spoke about meeting him at a party, where the two reportedly exchanged phone numbers. In one episode, Malti also alleged that Amaal had texted her, calling her “hey gorgeous,” a claim the music composer denied. Now, addressing the speculation surrounding her equation with Amaal, Malti has issued a strong statement on social media.

The Bigg Boss 19 contestant wrote on X, “Let’s clear this once and for all. Amaal and I had no relationship or any kind of ‘ship.’ He asked for my number, and we met only once. We talked and shared some personal information. After that, we were in touch over the phone. That’s it! There was nothing else between us. On the show, when I said “bahar ki baat nahi karenge,” I meant that I would not share his personal information.”

In the post, Malti also accused Amaal of setting a false narrative about her. She further wrote, “It was disrespectful of Amaal to create a narrative on the show suggesting that I was trying to impress him and to make derogatory remarks about me, something I saw only after coming out of the BB house. Yes, he mentioned his mental health a few times, both before and during the show. I was empathetic and tried to help in the moment so he wouldn’t have more regrets later. Now, I’m the one regretting it. That’s all. Spare me now. Please don’t associate my name with his. Thanks.”

Malti Chahar exited from Bigg Boss 19 just a week before the grand finale. After her exit from the show, Malti has been making some strong comments about her fellow contestants on the show.
