Mass Jathara Box Office Collection Day 1: Ravi Teja’s landmark 75th film FAILS to impress, earns…

Mass Jathara Box Office Collection Day 1: After all the hype around Ravi Teja’s 75th movie Mass Jathara, which was directed by Bhanu Bogavarapu, the movie is yet to make a mark in the box office. This fiery movie is backed by the trio of Fortune Four Cinemas, Srikara Studios, and Sitara Entertainments. Reports reveal that the very first day saw the film collecting only Rs 0.08 crore in India which is pretty disappointing concerning the anticipation. The movie was made with a budget of roughly Rs 30 crore and thus, the box office demand was high to be particularly so because it was the 75th film of Ravi Teja. Disappointment, however, was the outcome. His last movie, Mr. Bachchan, for instance, had a first-day gross of Rs 5.3 crore. Besides Sreeleela, another lead actress, the audience obviously states through their reactions that it did not live up to the hype.

Audience reactions on Ravi Teja’s Mass Jathara

The movie’s fate is mixed to negative on social media. One netizen expressed, “one time watch but regular commercial songs timing I don’t like it, nothing to say anything from this movie… overall movie just below average.” In a similar vein was the reaction of another viewer who said,”Films should be made as the script compels you and the content looks great. But these days, films are made just to appease audiences #MassJathara is a mix of ten mass films without proper emphasis on the story.”

A few viewers merely spoke of it as a “routine mass entertainer,” which has been done in the same way again and again with the old, habitual mix and match of fights, songs and then fights again. One comment reads , “Terribly outdated and atrociously written. Gets super random & the comedy tracks push the patience test even further. Terrible film! A generous 1/2 for the production quality & Ravi Teja’s energy.”

Overall, Mass Jathara failed to impress audiences on opening day. Despite Ravi Teja’s energy and popularity, the film has been slow at the box office. It remains to be seen whether the film will pick up steam over the weekend or whether this will become a lost chapter in Ravi Teja’s filmography.
