Ahaan Panday, Aneet Padda Win Top Popular Choice Honours
It was a glamorous night celebrating the best of Indian entertainment as the News18 Showsha Reel Awards 2026 wrapped up in Mumbai. From standout performances on the big screen to memorable moments on OTT, the evening honoured artists who made a strong impact over the past year.
The Popular Choice awards category recognised excellence across several categories, including Best Film, Best Actor and Best Director. Actors Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda emerged as notable winners, earning appreciation for their performances in the film Saiyaara. Meanwhile, stars such as Yami Gautam Dhar and Ananya Panday were also among the big winners, receiving recognition for their performances. Singer Shilpa Rao also featured among the awardees.
