The charges come days after the couple were found dead with stab wounds at their home in the Brentwood neighbourhood of LA. Nick was arrested hours later on suspicion of the killings and has remained in custody since. District Attorney Hochman’s office has yet to decide whether to seek the death penalty in this case.
He received multiple honours, including two Primetime Emmy Awards for All in the Family, a Hugo Award, and nominations for an Academy Award, a BAFTA, and Golden Globe Awards. He was also honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1999 and received the Chaplin Award in 2014.

Just months ago, Nick was photographed with his parents and siblings at the premiere of Spinal Tap: The End Continues. Rob and Nick had previously collaborated on the 2016 film Being Charlie, which explored the life of a troubled son of a famous father. It drew inspiration from personal experiences but was not a biography. Earlier, Nick had also spoken about his struggles with addiction and visiting treatment facilities often.
