Surbhi Jyoti celebrated Holi with husband Sumit Suri in Lonavala and shared a colourful glimpse with fans.
The couple is expecting their first child in June.
The festival of colours brought joy and vibrant celebrations across the country. And as always, social media was flooded with glimpses of how our favourite celebrities marked the special day. Joining the festive spirit, popular television actress Surbhi Jyoti shared a sweet moment from her Holi celebration with husband Sumit Suri in Lonavala.
The actress, who is expecting her first baby in June, posted a colourful photo on her Instagram Stories in which the couple can be seen drenched in bright gulal.
The cheerful snapshot captured the couple enjoying the festive mood, smiling as they celebrated Holi surrounded by colours. Sharing the picture, she simply wished her fans “Happy Holiii.”
Surbhi Jyoti’s Pregnancy Announcement
The actress, who tied the wedding knot with Sumit Suri in 2024 in an intimate ceremony, confirmed the happy news with a post on her social media handle. Surbhi took to Instagram and announced that she is expecting her first child by dropping a picture which featured the couple’s feet alongside a pair of toddler shoes.
In the caption of her post, Surbhi wrote, “Our greatest adventure begins. Coming soon… #junebaby.”
Surbhi Jyoti And Sumit Suri’s Career So Far
The television actress has made a significant mark in the entertainment industry through her versatile performances across television and digital platforms. Surbhi Jyoti became a household name with her role of Zoya Faruqui in Qubool Hai, earning praise for her chemistry with Karan Singh Grover. The actress also showcased her talent as Bela in Naagin 3 opposite Pearl V Puri.
She is also best known for her performances in popular TV shows such as Ishqbaaaz, Tanhaiyan and Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai. The actress has also starred in the Punjabi film Khadari.
Besides entertaining her television audiences, Surbhi stepped into Bollywood with the 2021 film Kya Meri Sonam Gupta Bewafa Hai? Next, she ventured into the OTT platform and won fans with her powerful performance in the 2024 web series Gunaah. The series shared the screen space with Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 14’s second runner-up, Gashmeer Mahajan.
Sumit Suri, on the other hand, made his acting debut in 2013 with the adventure thriller 3D film Warning. He has since then appeared in films including What the Fish, Babloo Happy Hai, Surkhaab, and A Billion Colour Story. Sumit was last seen in 14 Phere, a comedy film starring Kriti Kharbanda and Vikrant Massey.
