The fourth edition of the prestigious Red Sea International Film Festival (RSIFF) began on Thursday, December 5, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and will continue until December 14. The film festival boasts a line-up of A-list celebrities from all around the world. Joining the star-studded line-up is the power couple Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas.
The two will attend the 4th RSIFF’s In-Conversation With segment on December 11 at the Culture Square. During the talk, the stars will discuss their work and share anecdotes about their careers. Nick’s session will be at 3:15 PM, whereas Priyanka’s session is scheduled for 5 PM.
The RSIFF organisers shared the announcement on their social media handles, describing Priyanka Chopra as “one of India’s most celebrated actors, with accolades including two National Film Awards and five Filmfare Awards.” They added, “Honored with the Padma Shri in 2016, she has also been recognised on Time’s 100 Most Influential People list and Forbes’ World’s 100 Most Powerful Women. A trailblazer in entertainment, Priyanka has bridged industries, championed representation, and continues to shape global cinema and culture.”
The organisers introduced Nick, saying, “Nick Jonas is a Golden Globe-nominated American singer, songwriter, and actor. Jonas began acting in theatre at the age of seven before forming a band with his older brothers, Joe and Kevin, known as the Jonas Brothers.” They further mentioned his notable works, such as Camp Rock, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, The Good Half, Midway, and Chaos Walking, among others.
Apart from Nick and Priyanka, popular celebrities like Michelle Yeoh, Emily Blunt, Aamir Khan and Olivia Wilde have been roped in for speaking at the festival. Others to join the lineup are Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Zaki, Michael Mann, Viola Davis, Eva Longoria and Spike Lee.
Speaking of Nick and Priyanka, the couple recently celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary, and it was all about celebrating with their little one, Malti Marie. The 42-year-old dropped a carousel on her Instagram account, giving her fans a glimpse of their celebration. The couple and their little girl enjoyed the day by watching Disney’s new film Moana 2.
In the caption of the post, Priyanka wrote, “What a special treat on our anniversary. Maltis favorite Moana with our friends and family. Moana 2 is so much fun!! Thank you @disney @disneyanimation for the amazing screening. all the kids had the best time. In theaters now @nickjonas.”
