Rani Mukerji made a strong comeback with action drama Mardaani 3. It was the third installment from the franchise. And now there is a fresh report that it is finally releasing on OTT. The film will premiere on Netflix. Abhiraj Minawala directed the film, which also stars Janki Bodiwala and Mallika Prasad.

As per 123 Telugu, the film, which was released on January 30, will be released on Netflix from March 27. The makers are yet to make an official announcement. The film received mixed reviews. Rani once stated that the ‘Mardaani’ franchise stands for the idea that fear should never win.

Rani Mukerji Not On Board OMG 3 Despite Early Talks With Akshay Kumar?

Speculation had been rife that National Award-winning actor Rani Mukerji would join Akshay Kumar in the third instalment of the Oh My God series, OMG 3. The potential collaboration had generated considerable buzz, as it would have marked the first time the two stars shared screen space. However, recent reports indicate that Mukerji will not be part of the project. According to Variety India, Mukerji had been approached to play the lead protagonist in OMG 3, while Akshay Kumar was expected to return with an extended cameo appearance.

Sources suggest that the actor had heard a brief outline of the story and initially showed interest in the project. However, the discussions reportedly remained at a preliminary stage and did not develop further. “Akshay and Rani share a great long-standing relationship and were genuinely excited about teaming up, but those were very early conversations,” a source reportedly said.
