Music composer Tanishk Bagchi has stepped away from social media to focus on himself, handing over his Instagram to his agency. He thanked fans for their support and shared how emotional phases in his life shaped songs like Saiyaara.
Music composer Tanishk Bagchi, the hitmaker behind songs like Saiyaara and Raataan Lambiyan, has announced that he is taking a break from social media. On Sunday (November 16), he shared a statement on Instagram saying he will no longer be personally active online. Tanishk wrote that he’s stepping away from all platforms to focus on himself. He informed fans that his Instagram page will now be fully managed by his agency. “For any queries, collaborations or work-related communication, please reach out through DMs. All official contact details are in the bio,” he added.
He also thanked his fans for the constant love and support, saying their appreciation gives him strength every day. While he won’t be online, his page will continue to share only professional updates. His decision comes at a time when many artists are choosing digital detoxes for their mental well-being.
Over the years, Tanishk has delivered several chartbusters like Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, Aankh Marey, Saki Saki, Morni Banke, Badri Ki Dulhania, Raataan Lambiyan, and even the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 title track.
While talking about Saiyaara, he once shared how he was going through a difficult phase while creating the song. He spoke openly about battling depression, self-doubt, and a breakup during that time to the audience. “Mera breakup chal raha tha… main bahot relate kar paa raha tha,” he had said, adding that the emotions in the song came straight from the heart.
The title track of Saiyaara has become a fan favourite, with its soulful music and heartfelt lyrics trending across reels and social media posts, especially for emotional and romantic themes.
