Veteran actor Dharmendra, who was lovingly referred to as Bollywood’s He-Man, breathed his last on November 24. The veteran star was seen multiple times in the popular show Bigg Boss. On Dec 7, when the Bigg Boss Grand Finale was held, Salman Khan could not hold back his tears as he remembered Dharmendra. Salman was also quick to laud sons Sunny and Bobby Deol for arranging their father’s funeral and prayer meeting in a dignified way. A special video tribute was played for the actor, which had a culmination of various clips of Dharmendra’s various appearances on the show. It also had a very special throwback moment, where Dharmendra had called Salman Khan his son.

Salman Khan continued, sharing that Dharmendra had passed away on his father, Salim Khan’s, birthday. He also revealed that Dharmendra’s birth anniversary and Khan’s mother Salma Khan’s birthday fall on the same day, that is, December 8.

He also said, “If I am feeling like this, then what will his family be feeling—Sunny, Bobby, Prakash Aunty, Esha, Ahana, and Hema Ji?” The actor also applauded how well organized the prayer meet and funeral of Dharmendra were, applauding the Deol family.
