Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu and director Raj Nidimoru married early this morning, and snapshots from the intimate wedding have us feeling the love! The private wedding ceremony took place at Sadhguru’s Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore, with only the couple’s closest friends and family in attendance.
Decoding the bridal outfit
Taking to Instagram, the actor shared some glimpses from her special day. Samantha looked ethereal, clad in a bridal red sari with golden brocade embroidery, and heavy gold jewellery completing her look. A heavy neckpiece paired with matching gold earrings and a stack of bangles added a touch of traditional glam, while the pulled-back bun adorned with flowers and dewy makeup kept the look chic and understated. The floral garland around her neck complemented the wreath wrapped around her bun.

In one of the pictures, we can see her hands decorated with minimal mehendi wrapped around Nidimoru’s arm, but what made us stop in our tracks was the giant diamond-shaped solitaire nestled on her ring finger. Next to her, the director of The Family Man complemented her ensemble with an off-white kurta set layered with a golden Nehru jacket. A simple watch with a dark brown leather strap was his only choice of accessory, besides the large smile lighting up his face.
Congratulations pour in from fellow industry peers and friends, with Samantha’s Citadel co-actor Varun Dhawan dropping a heartfelt “❤️congratulationsssss 🤗” underneath her social media post.
Raj Nidimoru had worked closely with Samantha during the filming of the second season of the popular television show. They continued working together in Citadel: Honey Bunny before dating rumours spread earlier this year when pictures from the World Pickleball League hit the internet. This marks a second wedding for both Samantha and Raj. While the actor was married to actor Naga Chaitanya, the director was with Sshyamali De.
