Sara Ali Khan shares a warm family moment while celebrating Sharmila Tagore’s birthday.

Sara Ali Khan took to social media to share a heartfelt birthday wish for her grandmother, veteran actress Sharmila Tagore, calling her the “Chanda & Suraj” of their family. Sharing glimpses from the intimate family celebration, Sara posted pictures from the birthday gathering and expressed her love for her grandmother in a touching Instagram note.

Without altering her words, Sara wrote: “Happiest birthday to the Chanda and Suraj of our family (Two hearts, love hands, and Full Moon Face emojis) Love you beyond words Badi Amma (Red heart emoji) (sic).”

According to Sara’s post, the birthday celebration was attended by close family members including Saif Ali Khan and Soha Ali Khan. The cosy family gathering featured a warm, homely setting with cake, loved ones and even a Christmas tree visible in the background.

Kareena Kapoor And Saba Pataudi’s Special Tributes

Earlier in the day, Kareena Kapoor Khan also shared a birthday tribute for her mother-in-law Sharmila Tagore. The actress uploaded a series of family photos with the veteran star on Instagram and wrote, “Happy birthday dearest Mother in law.”

In one of the images, Saif Ali Khan was seen smiling for the camera alongside his mother Sharmila Tagore, who was holding little Jeh in her arms. Another picture showed Kareena strolling alongside Sharmila, with the text on the image reading, “Always trying to follow in your footsteps.” A final frame captured a tender moment of Sharmila Tagore playing with her grandson Jeh in a park.

Sara’s aunt and Sharmila Tagore’s daughter, Saba Pataudi, also paid an emotional tribute to her mother by sharing a string of family photographs. Her post featured moments with Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Soha Ali Khan and other members of the Pataudi family.
