Akansha Ranjan Kapoor, who marked her debut in the lights-camera-action world with the Bollywood film Guilty, is winning the hearts of millions with her acting chops. Following the success of her latest web series, Gram Chikitsalay, the actress sat for a fun interaction with Filmygyan. During the interaction, she shared insights into her heartfelt bond with co-star Kiara Advani.
In the interview, the rising actress lauded Kiara’s supportive and nurturing energy on set, particularly recalling how the Kabir Singh actress made her feel completely at ease. “She was just too good, man. She was fab!” Akansha gushed.
She further elaborated, “At that time, Kabir Singh had just released, so there was a lot of buzz. All of us newcomers were just buzzing around, unsure of what was going to happen. And there she was—this calming, nurturing presence.”
Akansha then went on to share that Kiara had a unique blend of being both playful and maternal on set. “She would jokingly slap me for saying silly things, but she was like this mother figure. She almost killed me with kindness—but most nicely!” she stated.
Describing Kiara’s consistent warmth and encouragement during shooting, the actress concluded by saying, “When we were together, she would always be so complimentary, so warm. We became extremely close during Guilty. That bond was honestly a by-product of just how lovely she was to all of us.”
Speaking about their work commitments, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor was most recently seen in Gram Chikitsalay. The Amazon Prime series, directed by Rahul Pandey and produced by Deepak Kumar Mishra, features the actress alongside a talented ensemble cast. It includes Amol Parashar, Anandeshwar Dwivedi, Akash Makhija, and Garima Vikrant Singh. The script, written by Shreya Srivastava and Vaibhav Suman, blends humour with heart, something Akansha was eager to explore.
Kiara Advani, on the other hand, is set to appear in the highly anticipated War 2. The movie also stars Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR in lead roles. Adding to the hype of the film, the makers released the teaser of the film today. Personally, Kiara Advani is currently awaiting the arrival of her first child with husband Sidharth Malhotra.
