2026 ZIM vs BAN 2nd ODI Playing 11: Richard Ngarava-led Zimbabwe will square off against Mehidy Hasan Miraz-led Bangladesh in the 2nd ODI match on July 09 at Harare Sports Club, Harare.
Zimbabwe secured a 25-run victory in the first ODI and secured a 1-0 lead in the series. The hosts will be aiming to post a win in the second game to seal the series, while the visitors will be aiming for a win to level the series.
Bangladesh won the toss and opted to bowl. Speaking at the toss, Mehidy Hasan Miraz said, “We will bowl first. In the previous match, our fast bowlers were outstanding in the first ten overs. They bowled really well and picked up a lot of wickets, so we’re looking to build on that performance.”
“I think we need a good partnership at the top of the order. It was our first match here after a long time, so these things can happen. But we believe we can do much better.”
Speaking on today’s Bangladesh Cricket team playing 11, “We have one change. Mustafizur isn’t playing, and Shoriful comes into the side.”

Meanwhile, Richard Ngarava said, “We just want to focus on the K.I.S.S ‘, keep it super simple’ when we bat here. Of course, the first game went the way it did, but now it is in the past.”
“The wicket looks pretty good, something that can allow our batters to charge at the bowlers, their bowlers.”
“Nothing really. Again, it is just about keeping it simple. The ball will tell us where it has to be hit, and hopefully, we can execute that. No changes for us.”
