The 12-year-old daughter of Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar) legislator Rohit Pawar’s personal assistant was found dead under suspicious circumstances at Baramati in Maharashtra’s Pune district on Sunday, news agency PTI reported, quoting officials. The deceased was the daughter of Pawar’s PA, Ajit Dashavatare, they said. Police have launched an investigation into the case and are examining the circumstances surrounding the girl’s death from all possible angles. According to sources, the girl had a minor argument with her mother over some issue before leaving her home in anger on Saturday. The exact issue over which the argument took place was not immediately known. After the girl left the house, her family waited for her to return. However, when she did not come back, her family became concerned and approached the police. A complaint was subsequently lodged with the police regarding the girl’s absence.
