Air India Phuket-Delhi flight turbulence injures 17; DGCA probe begins
Air India on Tuesday said that its Phuket-Delhi flight AI2379 experienced a sudden loss of altitude during the cruise phase of the journey, leaving 17 people injured before the aircraft landed safely in the national capital. In its latest update issued at 6.50 pm, the airline said the Airbus A320neo aircraft was carrying 137 passengers and eight crew members when it encountered the momentary in-flight event. The aircraft continued its journey normally after the sudden loss of altitude and landed safely in Delhi at 11.07 am.
