A driver of the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC), Kiran Kumar, 40, died due to heart attack while driving a bus on Wednesday. Kumar, who was operating a bus on route 256 M/1 from Nelamangala to Dasanapura, was driving the vehicle when he suddenly collapsed. Bus conductor Obalesh brought the vehicle to a safe halt, ensuring the safety of the passengers on board and preventing any potential accident. Following his quick action, Obalesh rushed Kumar to the V P Magnus Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead. The incident took place at 11 am on the final trip of the bust to the depot.
