Marathi actor Siddharth Bodke plays Roy, while Kritika Singh and Moon Banerjee portray his wife Swapna Roy and mother Chhabi Roy, respectively. Aditya Srivastava is also part of the cast. The series is based on Tamal Bandyopadhyay’s book, Sahara: The Untold Story. “The team shot in Lucknow, where Sahara’s head office is based, as well as in Kanpur-Bithoor, Malihabad and other nearby locations. The link road connecting Phase 11’s Bawa White House area with the Airport Road is expected to be fully operational by June 15, officials of the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) said. The project, which has been under construction for several months, is expected to provide significant relief to commuters travelling between Mohali and Chandigarh International Airport, they said. Mohali: Airport link road completion by June 15, says GMADA GMADA superintending engineer Ajay Garg said the remaining construction work on a portion of the bridge, besides the final road surfacing, is progressing at a steady pace. He said the aim was to complete it by June 15 after which the road will be opened for two-way traffic movement. However, several stretches remain incomplete and motorists have to navigate diversions and partially constructed sections. The board made the appeal in a statement issued on Wednesday and also announced a helpline number for those seeking technical guidance on online registration. The release said the UMEED portal has been brought in practice to ensure transparency, responsibility, legal protection and orderly digital management of waqf properties. The board said that many waqf properties have not completed their registration with the necessary documents and details and appealed to them to do so by May 26. The release added that under the UMEED Act, 2025, the deadline of May 26 for the online registration is final and it won’t be further extended. PUNE: Union minister for road transport and highways Nitin Gadkari on Thursday reviewed the Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Palkhi route and related highway projects, stating that the remaining work is expected to be completed within the next four to six months. He said nearly 65% of the Dive Ghat–Hadapsar stretch has been completed, while separate lanes for warkaris (pilgrims), flyovers, underpasses and modern bridges are under construction.
