New Delhi: A man was seen on camera chilling with a glass of ‘liquor’ and a boiled egg inside a moving Delhi Metro train. The police took note of it after the video went viral and a passenger complained to them. In the video taken by a passenger, the man was seen taking three swigs of ‘liquor’, looking from side to side to check if he would be caught. He took a bite of the boiled egg between the swigs. The Delhi Police posted the video on X and explained what action they have taken for ‘drinking’ in public, that too inside the metro. “Eggs and alcohol in the metro? That’s not breakfast – that’s a breach. Break the rules, face the consequences. Rules aren’t suggestions – they are the law,” the police said in the post. CBSE Board Exams 2025: Delhi Metro to give priority to students with admit cards during security checks, ticketing

CBSE Board Exams 2025: Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Friday announced a series of measures to make travel smoother and hassle-free for the CBSE students appearing for class 10 and 12 board exams in the national capital. The Class 10 board exams will commence on Saturday, February 15 and end on March 18, 2025. Whereas, class 12 board exams will also start on February 15 and conclude on April 4, 2025. In a post on X, Delhi Metro said that students carrying their CBSE admit cards will be given priority during security checks at metro stations. Delhi Metro will also be making special centralised announcements at stations. “Students showing their Admit Cards will also be prioritized while purchasing tickets at Ticket Office Machines (TOM) and Customer Care (CC) centers,” reads the post.
