Eighteen workers are trapped under the structure. Kolkata under-construction warehouse collapse updates West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari reached the accident site along with a few Ministers from his Cabinet. “All the agencies are working together. We have rescued 21 persons of which three have died,” Mr. Adhikari told media persons at the accident site. About 18 persons are still trapped inside, contact has been established between them and rescue personnel, he said. Rescue teams, doctors and personnel of the Kolkata Police reached the spot, and attempts are being made to bring out workers trapped under the debris. According to locals present at the accident site, 50 to 60 workers were working at the site when the accident happened. He said the conservation and preservation laboratory has been set up in collaboration with the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts in Delhi, headed by Ram Bahadur Rai.
