Bodies of two people who were allegedly murdered were recovered from different spots in the national capital – one from Dwarakapuri and the other from Gandhi Nagar – in the last two days, the Delhi Police said. The deceased have been identified as Vivek, 16, who had stab wounds all over his body, and Islam, 26, a native of Uttar Pradesh’s Badaun. According to the police, officials at Dabri station found the body of Vivek on Dwaraka-Dabri Road near Vijay Enclave in Dwarkapuri early on Monday. “He was taken to the DDU Hospital, where he was declared being brought dead,” said Ankit Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwaraka). In the second incident, the body of Islam was discovered inside an autorickshaw on Sunday evening at the Oniron Bridge in Gandhi Nagar. “Islam was found dead in an autorickshaw bearing No. DL-1RV-8714, with blood pouring out of his lower neck area,” said Prashant Priya Gautam, DCP, Shahdara.
