(Representational image) A 46-year-old air hostess has alleged that she was sexually assaulted by a staff member while on a ventilator in the intensive care unit (ICU) of a private hospital in Gurugram. In her complaint to the police, the woman alleged the incident took place on 6 April, a day after she was admitted to the hospital. She claimed that while she was unconscious and receiving treatment in the ICU, a member of the hospital staff sexually assaulted her. “On April 6, I was on a ventilator when some hospital staff sexually assaulted me,” the woman’s complaint read.
