The Sharad Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party (NCP SP) leader Rohit Pawar has assured supporters that there is no cause for concern after reports about his health prompted calls from well-wishers. In a post on X on Monday, Pawar said he had been unwell for the past two to three days and was undergoing medical tests to determine whether the illness was due to viral flu or another cause. Pawar said doctors had advised him to take complete rest instead of ignoring his illness. According to the bulletin, Wangchuk is receiving oral rehydration solution (ORS) and oral potassium supplementation, but has continued to decline intravenous fluids and glucose administration despite repeated medical advice.
