The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will offer a new certificate programme in fashion design. The new certificate programme will be offered by IGNOU’s School of Vocational Education and Training. Interested candidates can register online at – ignou.ac.in. A student who has qualified Class 12 will be eligible to apply. The medium of instruction will be in English or Hindi. The certificate course can be completed between a period of six months and two years’ duration. The programme aims at preparing students for employability in the apparel industry, an IGNOU statement said.
