Continuous heavy rainfall across parts of Maharashtra has led to a sharp rise in the water level of the Pawana River, causing water to enter the premises of the Morya Gosavi Ganpati Temple in Pimpri-Chinchwad on Monday. The rise in river levels comes after intense rainfall in several regions, increasing water flow in rivers and other water bodies. Authorities are monitoring the situation as heavy rainfall continues across Maharashtra.
