The President of India, Droupadi Murmu, in her capacity as the visitor of JMI, has approved amendments to the existing statute 20, an official notification stated. This approval was conveyed to Jamia Millia Islamia by the ministry of education (department of higher education) vide its letter no. 6-11/2022-CU 2 dated March 6, 2024.
