Ten ministers, including two women legislators, are likely to be sworn into Jharkhand’s 12-member Cabinet on Thursday, sources said. The oath-taking ceremony has been scheduled at the Raj Bhavan in the state capital at 12.30 pm, government officials said. “It is too early to say who precisely will be taking oath (on Thursday), but a total of 10 ministers — of whom two will be women legislators — are likely to be inducted,” a Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader said. JMM sources said that the twelfth berth on the council of ministers was likely to remain vacant. “The sole remaining berth on the council of ministers is likely to be left vacant for the time being. Both the JMM and the Congress are likely to have one woman minister each in the Cabinet,” said an INDIA bloc source.
