Dacoit: Jonita Gandhi and Adivi Sesh Groove Together in Chichubuddi

The makers of action entertainer Dacoit have unveiled the video for Chichubuddi, the special number from the summer release. The film will hit the theatres on April 10. This foot-tapping track features Adivi Sesh and Jonita Gandhi taking centre stage as background dancers join them. The atmosphere is thick with a laidback nighttime vibe. The setting in the Shaneil Deo directorial appears to be a hideout where lawlessness thrives. Jonita Gandhi remains the absolute cynosure of all eyes throughout the sequence. Her presence adds to the easy energy of the dance-off that also involves a guest appearance by the Bhojpuri superstar Pawan Singh. The song culminates in a sudden police raid, adding a layer of tension to the celebration. This entire concept integrates perfectly with the wicked title of the movie. It also highlights Sesh’s prisoner character ostensibly negotiating with a dangerous world. Music director Bheems Ceciroleo provides a rhythmic composition that demands movement. Jonita’s confident debut The talented singer makes a confident debut as a featured performer in this special dance number. Transitioning from …

Jonita Gandhi is known for the songs she sings, but nothing about her personal life ever makes it’s way onto the internet. If she is dating someone or not is also a mystery. And when we ask her, she says she decidedly wants only her work to do all the talking. “I prefer to keep my personal life private, but there are times here and there when the media shares about family events that I talk about on my social profiles. Aside from those, being in this profession can be consuming when there’s no boundary between personal and professional so I hope it stays this way where the two can remain separate,” she makes it clear. One-minute songs are a social media favorite for reels, and Jonita Gandhi has come up with one of her own. “Hey Enna Paarva is really special to me. The process was really fun and memorable. A Tamizh song felt like the natural path for this project and I’m so glad that Keba Jeremiah, who played guitars on the track, and I were touring in the US at the time so we could spend some time in studio with my good friend Sanjoy, who produced the track. The lyrics were written by Ko Sesha and it all fell together so naturally,” shares the 33-year-old, who has sung chartbusters such as The Break-Up Song (Ae Dil Hai Mushkil) and Gilehriyaan (Dangal). But doesn’t people’s attention span going down also signal towards the quality of music taking a hit? Gandhi agrees and says …
