The Aditya Dhar directorial had one of the widest releases of the year on December 5, dominating the screen count and number of shows as well. On back of word-of-mouth, it has now entered Rs 1000 crore club and refuses to slow down even in its third week. Now, comedian Kapil Sharma has announced the re-release of his 2015 comedy drama’s sequel in January, 2026. Kapil’s film — after two weeks of release — has earned about Rs 12 crore at the box office.
