Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar has emerged as a blockbuster and even managed to crush other theatrical releases. The Aditya Dhar directorial had one of the widest releases of the year on December 5, dominating the screen count and number of shows as well. On back of word-of-mouth, it has now entered Rs 1000 crore club and refuses to slow down even in its third week. The spy-thriller has been collecting massive box office numbers, compromising the screens allotted to other current films, including, Avatar: Fire and Ash, Zootopia 2, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, and Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2. Now, comedian Kapil Sharma has announced the re-release of his 2015 comedy drama’s sequel in January, 2026. Kapil’s film — after two weeks of release — has earned about Rs 12 crore at the box office.
