Pune rains: PMC issues advisory as rainfall increases water levels in dams
Pune in Maharashtra witnessed heavy monsoon rainfall over the past 24 hours, leading to a significant rise in water levels at major dams supplying the city. The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has issued a safety advisory for residents, urging people to follow official instructions and avoid unnecessary travel during periods of intense rain. Rainfall data collected through the PMC’s Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) weather stations showed widespread rainfall across different parts of the city. Khadakwasla records highest rainfall According to the rainfall report, Khadakwasla recorded the highest rainfall at 115.20 mm.
