Three schoolgirls were killed after a private bus hit the two-wheeler they were travelling on near a school in Hinganghat town of Maharashtra’s Wardha district, police said on Saturday, reported the PTI. The accident took place on Friday morning near Ambedkar School, according to officials. Police said the three girls were travelling on a two-wheeler when a private bus allegedly hit them from behind. The impact caused the accident, resulting in the deaths of all three girls. The bus driver was arrested following the incident, police said. Further investigation is underway to establish the exact circumstances of the crash. Victims identified The deceased were identified as Samruddhi Rupak Dhamse, 15, Aruhi Raju Chavre, 17 and Misbah Javed Sheikh, 17. All three were residents of the local area, officials said.
