Like nationals of many other countries, thousands of Indians too, have been languishing in prisons overseas – some for a few years, some for decades. Their voices and appeals unheard because of the lack of proximity to their home country. The cost of the underground section is around Rs 1,810 crore. Modi will lay the foundation stone for the Swargate-Katraj extension of Pune Metro Phase-1, to be developed at a cost of around Rs 2,955 crore.
