Palash Muchhal Turns Off Comments Section After Smriti Mandhana’s Friend Files Case
Singer and music composer Palash Muchhal visited the Khatu Shyam Temple on Wednesday amid the controversy surrounding an atrocities case filed against him by a friend of cricketer Smriti Mandhana. Sharing pictures from the temple visit on Instagram, Palash was seen offering prayers and bowing before the deity. In the caption, he wrote, “Jahan sir jhuka, wahan sukoon mila,” along with mentions of Khatu Shyam Ji, Salasar Balaji and Jeevan Mata Ji. He also disabled comments on the post. Earlier on Wednesday, reports claimed that a case had been registered against Palash under the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. The complaint was filed by Vidnyan Mane, a resident of Sangli and a close childhood friend of Smriti Mandhana. According to the complaint, the incident allegedly took place on November 22 at a toll plaza on the Sangli Ashta road during an argument.
