Nahid Rana Included in Bangladesh Squad for Australia T20Is
The 23-year-old Nahid Rana has been recalled to the Bangladesh squad for the T20I series against Australia, which is set to begin following the conclusion of the ODI series. Litton Das will be leading the Bangladesh squad, which features the return of Taskin Ahmed after having missed the T20I series against New Zealand in April. Nahid Rana and Taskin Ahmed will be replacing Ripon Mondol and Mohammad Saifuddin in the squad. “Nahid Rana is ready to play all three formats,” said chief selector Habibul Bashar. “It’s very difficult to leave him out. He is a champion bowler. Whenever we leave him out of a format, the main reason is workload management.” Meanwhile, Bangladesh have also named their test squad for the upcoming One-off test against Zimbabwe in Harare.
