The Harmanpreet Kaur-led Mumbai will take on Meg Lanning’s Delhi in the final at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on Saturday. Defending champions Mumbai Indians stormed into their second Women’s Premier League (WPL) final after defeating Gujarat Giants by 47 runs in the Eliminator on Thursday. They will take on Delhi Capitals in the final on Saturday. Hayley Matthews (77 off 50) and Nat Sciver-Brunt (77 off 41) starred with the bat, propelling Mumbai to a formidable total of 213/4 before their bowlers wrapped up Gujarat’s chase at 166 in 19.2 overs. Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur (36 off 12) added the finishing touches with a quickfire cameo, ensuring Mumbai set a daunting target. The 32-year-old Nat Sciver-Brunt Slammed her 8th WPL fifty during the eliminators of the 2025 season against Gujarat Giants on March 13 at Brabourne Stadium. He Fifty comes off in 29 deliveries and becomes the first batter to slam five fifties in the ongoing WPL 2025 season. Having played 27 WPL, matches, she scored 920 runs with an average of 46.00 and a strike rate of 140.45. The 32-year-old Nat Sciver-Brunt has slammed her 7th WPL fifty in their 199 run chase during the 2025 season match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru on March 11 at Brabourne Stadium. She went on to slam a half-century off 29 deliveries which included seven fours and a six. In 26 WPL matches, she went on to score 851 runs with an average of 44.78 and a strike rate of 137.28.
