India has condemned the attack on the Cyprus-flagged commercial vessel GFS Galaxy off the coast of Oman, after one of the ship’s 11 Indian crew members was reported missing, reported the PTI. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) confirmed that 10 Indian nationals have been rescued, while search efforts are continuing to locate the missing crew member. Embassy coordinating rescue efforts The MEA said the Indian Embassy in Oman is closely monitoring the situation and is working with Omani authorities as search and rescue operations continue, according to the PTI. The ministry also thanked the Omani government for its support during the ongoing rescue mission.
