The Indian Premier League (IPL) is set to witness one of the blockbuster trade deals in its rich history. According to reports, Rishabh Pant is set to move back to Delhi, leaving LSG just two years after his record-breaking price of INR 27 crore. It is said that Kuldeep Yadav will be traded to LSG. This report comes after Rishabh Pant was relieved of LSG captaincy, which was accepted by the franchise after a disappointing campaign in the 2025 and 2026 seasons. The development followed LSG team director Tom Moody suggesting immediately after the team’s last match of the season that the franchise was looking to reset the leadership ahead of the new IPL season. Rishabh Pant has captained 28 matches for LSG, where they have 10 wins and 18 defeats.
