Parliament Budget Session 2026 Live: Both Houses To Take Up Motion Of Thanks On President’s Address Today

Budget Session Parliament 2026 Live: Both Houses of the Parliament, the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha, will take up the discussion on the Motion of Thanks to the President’s Address on Monday. Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal is set to initiate the debate on behalf of the BJP in the lower house and BJP MP Tejasvi Surya will second the motion. Meanwhile, in the Rajya Sabha, BJP MP C Sadanandan Master will move the motion, and his fellow party MP Medha Vishram Kulkarni will second the motion. Parliament has earmarked 18 hours for the discussion, during which members from across parties are expected to participate. The Lok Sabha will convene at 11 am today to address a packed agenda.
